Biography:
Crowley, portrayed by David Tennant, is a prominent character in the Amazon Prime Video series Good Omens, based on the novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. He first appears in the series' premiere episode, "In the Beginning".
Originally an angel named Crawly, he is most famously known as the serpent who tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden. Over millennia, he has fully embraced his role as a demon, although he often displays a reluctant fondness for humanity and Earthly pleasures.
Crowley maintains a close, albeit complex, relationship with the angel Aziraphale. The pair often find themselves working together to avert Armageddon, despite being on opposing sides of the cosmic conflict. His character is defined by his wit, stylish appearance (particularly his sunglasses and classic Bentley), and a generally cynical outlook masking a surprising capacity for good.
